HINTS trainer
Infinite random bedside cases drawn from nine canonical patterns. Tick the findings you observe, then reveal graded feedback against the archetype truth set.
Each round is a fresh case. The diagnosis is hidden until you reveal — you have to read the pattern from the findings alone, the way you would at the bedside. Stats accumulate across all rounds and are stored locally in your browser.
What HINTS findings do you observe?
Tick every finding present in this patient. Reveal to grade against the canonical pattern. You will not be told the diagnosis up front.
How grading works
Each archetype has a canonical set of HINTS findings. After you reveal, the trainer compares your ticks against the truth set:
- Correct — finding in the truth set and ticked by you
- Missed — finding in the truth set but not ticked
- Over-called — ticked by you but not in the truth set
A perfect call is no missed and no over-called findings. Use the missed and over-called rows after each round to identify the patterns you are getting wrong.
